honey and thyme dressing ii

If this is made well with good quality ingredients, it produces a superior salad dressing for all occasions.

  • Mix the red wine vinegar and honey together in a small bowl.
  • Pluck the leaves from the thyme until you have about 3T. Chop the leaves up very finely. If you are using fresh organic thyme then the leaves are a bit firmer than the soft supermarket stuff. In this case you can use the seed grinder to chop it up. Add the chopped thyme leaves to the bowl.
  • Add the juice from a lemon.
  • Chop the garlic cloves up as finely as you can and add it to the mix.
  • Mix everything together before adding the olive oil.
  • Finally add the olive oil and give it another stir.

  • Delicious served fresh with any salads.

  • Clean the seed grinder.
  • Recycle the waste.
