coconut oil (Cocos nucifera)

  • If you keep your coconut oil in the fridge, then it becomes a white creamy solid. It keeps for longer like this.
  • For blending just scrape out the quantity you need. The bender will happily mix it in.
  • It will melt into a clear colourless oil at just over room temperature. For making chocolates you will need to get it into this state.
  • If you need it in liquid form, then just take what you need from the fridge and allow it to warm up for a while beforehand.
